This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia.
As friendly neighbors sharing mountains and rivers, the two countries have achieved smooth development in their strategic partnership over the past 75 years.
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the China-Mongolia Treaty of Friendly Relations and Cooperation and the 10th anniversary of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership. In 2017, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative.
China has been Mongolia's largest trading partner and source of investment for many years. In 2023, China-Mongolia trade volume reached $16.59 billion, of which China's exports to the Mongolia amounted to about $3.47 billion and its imports from Mongolia surged to about $13.12 billion.
