During his address at The Global South Think Tanks Forum, Patrick Maluki, Director of the Africa Center for the Study of China at the University of Nairobi, emphasized the importance of discussing peace, development, and security for the Global South. He highlighted China's leadership in these areas, stating, "Issues relating to peace, development and security, we've seen China leading, and therefore we would expect China to share these models with the rest of the countries in the Global South."
