Every brick and tile of Tashilhunpo Monastery seems to tell an ancient story. Located in Xigaze, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, Tashilhunpo Monastery was established in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in the year 1447. The monastery was built against the mountain, presenting a majestic and spectacular view. The architecture of Tashilhunpo Monastery, like a silent narrator, quietly recounts the stories of ages past.
