The U.S. carried out a round of strikes in Yemen against the Iran-backed Houthis on Wednesday evening. Using B-2 stealth bombers, they targeted five underground weapons storage facilities. It wasn't immediately clear what damage the strikes have caused. Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Patrick Ryder says U.S.B-2 bomber strikes on Houthis "sends a clear message to the Houthis that there will continue to be consequences for their illegal and reckless attacks." The Houthis have been attacking ships in the Red Sea corridor for months because of the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
