Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Beijing on Friday. Wang Yi stated that as permanent members of the UN Security Council and major economies, China and the UK should uphold the international order, work together to address global challenges, and pursue development. He also expressed China's agreement to fully resume dialogue and cooperation mechanisms with the UK across various fields and to actively engage in mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, finance, green development, science and technology, health, education and people-to-people exchanges.
