Israeli prime minister's office said a drone was launched toward Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea on Saturday, after the military reported a drone from Lebanon had "hit a structure" in the central Israeli town.

"A UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) was launched toward the prime minister's residence in Caesarea. The prime minister and his wife were not at the location, and there were no injuries in the incident," the office said in a statement.

Earlier, the Israeli military said that the drone was launched from Lebanon. Two more drones that crossed into Israeli territory were intercepted, it said.

The Israeli ambulance service also reported no casualties after police said explosions had been heard in Caesarea, where Netanyahu has a holiday home, Reuters reported.
