On the evening of October 18, the 2024 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival officially opened. In addition to the dazzling lighting displays, the organizers collaborated with light and shadow art teams from home and abroad, employing digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality to create numerous immersive art installations. During the festival, nearly 300 cultural and sports performances, including food markets, concerts, intangible cultural heritage displays and sports competitions, were launched simultaneously, offering unique visual and culinary experiences beneath the shimmering lights.
