Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to attend the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, from Tuesday to Thursday. This is the first major gathering since the group expanded in January – now representing nearly half of the world's population and a quarter of global GDP. The focus will be on "strengthening multilateralism for equitable global development and security."
