Russia reported that its military launched attacks on the Ukrainian army at multiple locations on Sunday, while Ukraine claimed it struck a military airport and factory in Russia.
The Russian Defense Ministry, in a briefing released on Sunday, stated that the Russian army targeted Ukrainian forces and clusters of manpower and military hardware in 131 areas, repelling the Ukrainian armed forces attempting to enter Kursk Oblast. Russia's air forces shot down five U.S.-made HIMARS projectiles and 142 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. Additionally, its forces destroyed production facilities for unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as training and launching sites in the Sumy and Kharkov regions, the statement said.
