Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Kazan, Russia on Tuesday for the 16th BRICS Summit. He is scheduled to meet Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Lao president.
