The first batch of fresh bananas from Laos arrived on Sunday at the Beijing-Pinggu Logistics Hub aboard the first international cold-chain train of the China-Laos Railway (Vientiane-Kunming-Beijing Pinggu). The train departed from Vientiane South Station with 390 tonnes of bananas on October 12, entered China through Mohan Port in Yunnan Province, and arrived in Beijing. Compared with traditional methods, this shipment used a full cold-chain and smart logistics system, speeding up delivery and reducing costs. More products from ASEAN countries are entering the Chinese market, while Chinese products are reaching more countries, thanks to the China-Laos Railway.
