Kazan, located on the banks of the Volga River, is the capital city of Russia's Republic of Tatarstan. It is one of the important political, scientific, educational, cultural and sports centers in Russia. At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan from October 22 to 24.
