A cultural event was held by China Media Group (CMG) and the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) to celebrate 75 years of China-Russia diplomatic ties in Kazan, Russia on Tuesday.
CMG President Shen Haixiong noted in his speech at the event that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, as well as the the first year of the China-Russia Years of Culture.

Shen said that the two countries' ties are at a historical high under the leadership of the two sides.
According to Shen, CMG will deepen cooperation with Russia's media agencies to further advance the friendship.
VGTRK's CEO Oleg Dobrodeev said in his speech that VGTRK and CMG will deepen cooperation and sharing in the content production of journalism, TV and film and will continue to facilitate understanding and friendship between the two countries' peoples.

The Russian leg of CMG's exhibition, "Journey Through Civilizations: An Encounter with Liangzhu" 2024 World Tour, was also launched at the event.
