Russian media outlets on Tuesday started airing the Russian language edition of the third season of the video series "The Classic Quotes by Xi Jinping".

The broadcasts come as the Chinese president arrived in the Russian city of Kazan for the 16th BRICS Summit.

The Russian presidential office highlighted the significance of this program in a congratulatory letter, noting that it has been a major cultural exchange initiative produced by China Media Group and has been broadcast in Russia since 2019. It has since become a tradition among leading Russian media outlets.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. The congratulatory letter emphasized that with China-Russia ties at an all-time high, the broadcast plays a crucial role in promoting friendship between the two nations.
