Explosion and gunfire were heard on Wednesday afternoon at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. in Ankara and emergency services were dispatched to the site, local media reported.

The cause of the explosion and the subsequent gunfire remains unclear, with some media reports claiming a suicide attack had occurred.
