Late autumn brings a bountiful harvest of sweet persimmons in Linyi County, north China's Shanxi Province, along the Yellow River. Farmers are busy picking fruits destined for vibrant markets in over 20 Chinese cities and for export to Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. The county's annual persimmon export volume is around 50 million kilograms.
