The symphonic concert called "Hearing Contemporary China", is featuring new works by composers from the Chinese Central Conservatory of Music. And they've taken their tunes to Europe, recently performing in Austria, for an audience of a-thousand at the Vienna Concert Hall. The show premiered six pieces composed by faculty members, blending imagery of classical Chinese poetry, the emotional depth of Chinese culture, and reflections on the natural world through contemporary music. These efforts aim to exhibit Chinese culture on the global stage.

YU FENG President of Central Conservatory of Music "This year, we brought a large symphony orchestra and new works by our well-known composers and six professors to Vienna. I think these contemporary Chinese creations can let Europeans, especially people in Vienna, know more about China's modern development and contemporary music creations. Contemporary music plays an important role in how to express and reflect contemporary China and tell the story of China. Exhibiting our works in Europe, especially in Austria, is a very important goal for us."
