In the upper reaches of the Yellow River, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Gansu Province is known for its stunning Bingling Grottos, mist-covered high gorges, expansive lakes, the Danxia stone forest with thousands of peaks, rare dinosaur footprints, and flocks of migrating birds.
Linxia is also celebrated for its woodcuts, colored drawings and painted pottery. Additionally, intangible cultural heritages such as egg sculpture, clay sculpture and gourd sculpture contribute to the region's magnificent cultural wonders.
