U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday spoke with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy over the Middle East situation and reaffirmed commitment to regional stability, the State Department said. 

"Blinken has spoken with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Friday on reaching a diplomatic resolution in Lebanon and U.S. and UK commitment to regional stability," State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller wrote on social media. "They reaffirmed the need to end the war in Gaza to bring the hostages home."
