The last beam of China's longest continuous swivel road bridge over a railway was successfully rotated into position in Hefei City, east China's Anhui Province, in the early hours of Saturday.
The 554-meter, 60,000-tonne bridge features four continuous spans over the railway, with the first three sections rotated by late September.
This new highway will enhance connectivity between Hefei City and major eastern and central cities such as Nanjing, Hangzhou and Zhengzhou, supporting Hefei's integration into the Yangtze River Delta's development plan.
