The number of dead and missing in the massive flooding and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Trami in the Philippines has exceeded 100. The Philippine president stated on October 26 that many areas remain isolated, with people in need of rescue. Trami moved away from the northwestern Philippines on October 25, leaving at least 81 people dead and 34 others missing, according to the government's disaster response agency. The death toll is expected to rise as reports come in from previously isolated areas.
