On the evening of October 26, the "2024 Xiamen International Piano Competition," co-organized by the Central Conservatory of Music and the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, opened at the Xiamen International Conference Center. As the highest-level, largest-scale and most influential international music competition held after the National Education Conference, this competition has brought together many famous piano masters and education experts from home and abroad. More than 150 contestants from 17 countries and regions were invited to sign up for the competition. The competition aims to build a high-level international platform that transcends borders and cultures. It also strives to discover and cultivate outstanding talents in the field of piano worldwide, enhance the international influence of Chinese piano music, and contribute talent to the development of piano performance art in the new era.
