Nearly a thousand swans have arrived at the Great Swan National Nature Reserve in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, to spend the warmer winter months. Every year in mid-October, tens of thousands of swans from Siberia and other places fly into the city and leave in early March the following year. In recent years, local authorities have gradually implemented a series of measures, such as dredging and ecological restoration, to ensure the safety of these wild migratory birds.
