"10 Things about China," by 9-year-old Jeanette Fay Gunawan from Indonesia, wins the Third Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project. /Provided to CGTN
What comes to mind when you think of China?
For Jeanette Fay Gunawan from Indonesia, it's all about vibrant places, tasty food, and cultural legends. With markers, black ink, and water colors on A3 paper, the 9-year-old brings her top 10 symbols of China to life.
In her eyes, baozi (steamed buns), fragrant tea, pandas with bamboo, the legendary Chinese dragon, the Moon Goddess Chang'e with her Jade Rabbit, the Great Wall, glowing red lanterns, and blooming plum flowers are among the things that perfectly capture the spirit of China.
Congratulations to Jeanette Fay Gunawan for winning the Third Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project!
