The first flock of 200 swans have arrived for the winter in Qinghai Province's Gangcha County. Starting in October each year, the swans leave their breeding grounds, with some traveling to areas around Qinghai Lake and the upper reaches of the Yellow River. They will stay until February or March of the following year before moving on.
