"Hanfu," by Zhang Xinmo from China, wins the Third Prize in "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project. /Provided to CGTN by artist and guardian
Eight-year-old Zhang Xinmo from Shandong, China, wins the Third Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project. Congratulations, Xinmo!
Instead of using people as the subject of her painting, Zhang Xinmo chose to use China's "national treasure" – the giant panda, seen here wearing a dragon-head-shaped hat as the center of her composition. To add an extra touch of energy and vitality to the painting, the artist also added bright yellow hues to depict a gold fish and sunflowers.
