"Last year, I celebrated a special holiday in China – the Mid-Autumn Festival," shared Sky Lu, an 8-year-old from the United States. "I ate mooncakes, saw a big, round moon, and listened to my grandmother tell beautiful stories and legends about the festival."
Inspired by this cherished experience, Sky, with markers and her imagination, created this painting, describing it as an image of herself " as a princess celebrating a beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival in China."
Congratulations to Sky Lu for winning the Third Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project!
