"I Love China," by Chen Shiyue from Germany, wins the Third Prize in "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project. /Provided to CGTN by artist and guardian
What does China look like through the eyes of a child? For 10-year-old Chen Shiyue from Germany, it comes to the things that impressed her during her two trips to China and the many Chinese stories told by her mother. Using merely colored pencils, Chen wrote "I Love China" in Chinese in the center of her painting, and surrounded it with several Chinese symbols and elements, such as giant pandas, the Great Wall, the Ti’ananmen Gate tower, the Oriental Pearl Tower, red lanterns, a pipa, and snacks. The light color and even distribution of the figures make the whole work cozy and at ease.
Congratulations to Chen Shiyue for winning the Third Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project!
