Through the eyes of this young painter, the beauty of China unfolds across three important cities. Inspired by a summer trip, the artwork reflects personal connections to the places tied to her family and Chinese tradition.
At the bottom is Hangzhou's West Lake, where the artist stayed near the iconic Leifeng Pagoda. The middle features Yangming Ancient Town in Yuyao, a place rich in history where the young painter's grandparents live. At the top is Shanghai, where modern skyscrapers light up the night, offering unforgettable moments with family.
Using colored pencils, markers, and acrylics, Olivia Su brings a fresh touch to the cities that connect her to China.
Congratulations to Olivia Su for winning the Second Prize in the "China Through My Eyes" Global Children’s Art Project!
