The dynamic composition of this artwork is cleverly divided by a high-speed train at the center. On the left, a three-story traditional Chinese architecture – similar in shape to the Temple of Heaven – is adorned with peonies, adding a touch of elegance. To the right, a coiled dragon wraps around an ancient Chinese ceremonial column known as a huabiao, which stands next to the modern Oriental Pearl Tower. Above, jagged mountain peaks and cranes complete the scene. Rich in Chinese symbolism, the piece vividly captures both the cultural heritage and modern spirit of China.
Congratulations to Liu Xinyi for winning the Second Prize in "China Through My Eyes" Global Children's Art Project.
