The Canadian Transport Agency on October 24 lifted restrictions on Chinese air carriers, including the prohibition of non-stop passenger air services between Canada and Beijing, according to the decisions published on its website on Monday.

On January 28, 2022, the Canadian transport authority had introduced a slew of restrictions on Chinese air carriers, such as limiting the total number of scheduled round-trip passenger flights designated by China per week to no more than six.
