The European Commission is set to impose anti-subsidy tariffs on imports of electric vehicles made in China starting October 31. In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Wang Guan, Grzegorz W. Kolodko, former deputy prime minister of Poland, expressed his concerns, saying that in the long term, this move is going to backfire, as it is "never positive for the parties involved." Kolodko emphasized that the EU should avoid taking sides between the U.S. and China and instead, it should work with both to achieve "win-win globalization."
