The Rémi Panossian Trio, a renowned French jazz band, revealed in an exclusive interview with CGTN that they drew inspiration from Chinese culture for the title of their new album.

While touring China in 2023, they were surprised to find that the Wi-Fi password in many hotels was eight "8s." Knowing that the number 8 is considered auspicious in Chinese culture and symbolizes wealth, they enthusiastically named their new album – which is also their eighth – "88888888," expecting this lucky number to bring the band good fortune.
