Fruit flies to be studied in China Space Station

00:45

During the Shenzhou-19 mission, Chinese scientists will also send up a sub-magnetic facility with fruit flies to the space station. The scientists will try to create a sub-magnetic environment on the China Space Station by using magnetic shielding. Scientists say after sending the fruit flies up, they will observe their behavior. The study is expected to help better theoretical understanding for future exploration on the moon and Mars.
