Tensions in the Middle East continue to rise after an influx of displaced people in Beirut, the capital and largest city of Lebanon.
More than 100 people were killed in an Israeli strike on a residential building in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya, China Media Group reported on Wednesday, as ceasefire talks are underway with Hamas signaling openness to discuss a new deal. Additionally, Palestinian media report continuous shelling in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
The first stage of the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza does not include a cessation of conflict or a complete withdrawal, according to an Israeli broadcasting authority.
