China's Shenzhou-19 crewed spaceship conducted a fast automated rendezvous and docked with the space station combination on Wednesday.
As planned, the three Chinese astronauts on board, Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze, will later enter the Tianhe core module from the spaceship.
