China has urged the United States not to cross the red line when it comes to China's Taiwan. The U.S. Defense Department announced on October 26 that the State Department had approved $1.988 billion worth of arms sales to China's Taiwan, including surface-to-air missile systems and radar systems. In response, the Chinese Defense Ministry's spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said on Thursday that Washington has sent a wrong signal to separatist forces.
