Industry leaders in China speak against EU tariffs on Chinese EVs

China disapproves of and rejects the results of the European Union's anti-subsidy investigation on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) and has filed a suit under the WTO dispute settlement mechanism, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on October 30. 

The European Union has imposed additional tariffs of up to 35.3 percent on Chinese EVs. They will be effective from October 31 and will last for five years. Industry leaders in China speak against EU tariffs on Chinese EVs.
