A breathtaking layer of advection fog has enveloped Guanque Tower, also known as the Stork Tower, in Yongji City, north China's Shanxi Province. As the mist swirls around it, the tower appears to rise like an ethereal palace from a dream. Meteorological experts explain that advection fog forms when warm, moist air moves over a cooler surface, resulting in cooling from below.
