The People's Republic of China and the Slovak Republic on Friday issued a joint statement on the establishment of a strategic partnership.
China and Slovakia had in-depth exchange of views and reached broad consensus on their bilateral relations and exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest, said the statement, adding that the two sides decided to establish a strategic partnership.
The two sides are ready to take the anniversary of their diplomatic relations as an opportunity to carry forward traditional friendship, deepen political mutual trust, balanced and reciprocal relations, expand exchanges and cooperation in all fields and at all levels, and bring bilateral relations to a higher level, it said.
