China is building the largest base for its Hualong-1 nuclear power units in Zhangzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province. The plan is to build six advanced third-generation Hualong-1 power units there to meet the electricity demand. Four units are under construction. Unit 1 has completed the nuclear fuel loading and will be put into commercial operation by the end of this year. CGTN reporter Zheng Yibing is there for more.
