At the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen's fourth title in a row is now within reach after a stunning victory from 17th on the grid in Sao Paulo.
Verstappen's nearest title rival Lando Norris starts on pole and was only 44 points behind at the start of the race. But the Dutchman was at full speed from the start, rising to the 9th after only 5 laps, surpassing Lewis Hamilton.
On Lap 22, Vestappen was in 6th, behind Charles Leclerc, but he failed to make another pass. With a bit of luck from the rain, his chance came when drivers in front of him chose to change tyres, and Verstappen rose to 2nd.
The race was halted after Lap 33 and shortened to 69 laps, and when it resumed, the Red Bull driver completed the comeback ten laps later to take the lead.
This was his eighth win of the season, and perhaps one of the best of his career, with a margin of 19.477 seconds and a bonus point for the fastest lap. With three races left, Verstappen is 62 points clear of Norris who finished 6th.
Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly round out the podium, and China's Zhou Guanyu is 15th.
