The 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting was held in San Francisco, the U.S. in November 2023, with the theme of "Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Future for All." The meeting concluded with the adoption of the "Golden Gate Declaration" on creating a resilient and sustainable future for all.
2023 marked the 30th anniversary of the first-ever leaders' meeting in 1993, when host country the United States upgraded the APEC meeting mechanism from the ministerial level to the level of an informal leaders' meeting.
