U.S. carmaker Ford is this year participating in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai for the seventh time – it means the automaker has not missed a CIIE since the first expo in 2018.
Sam Wu, vice president of Ford Motor Company and president and CEO of Ford China, told CGTN on Tuesday that the company's appearances at the expo are based on its belief that collaboration in the global economy will make everybody stronger. He emphasized that cars are high-value, long-cycle products, and a strong economic environment is crucial for automakers.
