In the lush expanses of Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve in Jiangsu Province, park ranger Yao Yajun is tasked with rescuing milu deer that are trapped or injured.

One afternoon, Yao received an urgent call – several deer were trapped, and time was of the essence. Without a second thought, Yao set off to their location. Once on site, he worked alongside his team with calm precision, navigating the delicate process of freeing the deer from danger. Thanks to these dedicated guardians, all of the milu deer were safely rescued, and they quickly bounded back to their natural habitat.
