Thiru Naidoo, an export official from South Africa's Western Cape Province, says that the China International Import Expo (CIIE) not only provides opportunities for South African products to enter the Chinese market but also strengthens trade connections among countries in the Global South.

The 7th CIIE opened on Tuesday morning in Shanghai with the theme "New Era, Shared Future" which emphasizes the development of new quality productive forces and open sharing.
