China Media Group (CMG) launched an exhibition of premium TV and film programs in Sao Paulo on Friday, days before the 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting.

Starting November 8, more than 20 high-quality Chinese programs, including feature films, documentaries, variety shows and animations, will air simultaneously on over 10 mainstream Brazilian media platforms, including Box Brazil Media Group.

In a video address, CMG President Shen Haixiong noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, and the event reflects the growing strength of China-Brazil relations.

Shen highlighted the initiative as a meaningful way to deepen cultural exchange and foster goodwill between China and Brazil. "These high-quality programs will allow Brazilian audiences to feel the warmth and friendliness of the Chinese people and experience the breadth and depth of Chinese culture," he said.

During the event, CMG and Box Brazil Media Group signed an agreement to collaborate on broadcasting film and television programs.

Claudia Dreyer, head of Box Brazil Media Group, noted that Box Brazil Media Group and CMG have previously collaborated to broadcast numerous Chinese films and TV programs, which have been widely embraced by Brazilian viewers, especially younger audiences.

With the signing of a new cooperation agreement, which will introduce more Chinese documentaries and TV dramas in the future, aiming to elevate China-Brazil media cooperation and foster mutual understanding between the two nations, she said.
