Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Beijing. Du Lan, the deputy director of the Department for Asia-Pacific Studies at the China Institute of International Studies, says that the two countries stress cooperation in many sectors such as digital economy and renewable energy.
