As of November 7, floods caused by continuous rainfall have killed at least 219 people in Spain, with 93 others reported missing. According to the Spanish government's incomplete statistics, the economic losses are estimated to exceed 10 billion euros. The scale of reconstruction and recovery work is vast, and full recovery in the affected areas will take a significant amount of time.

CGTN's stringer spoke to several victims and volunteers in Paiport, Valencia, to describe the current situation after the flood. One affected resident shared that since the storm, both water and electricity have been cut off, and her home has been flooded. She stated that the situation remains dire. A volunteer involved in the rescue efforts mentioned that the sewage treatment system had collapsed, streets were covered with mud and broken furniture, and the rescue operation was hindered by shortage of both manpower and equipment.
