China's visa-free policy is expected to bring great benefits to the young generation and business runners in Slovakia, said Robert Fico, Slovak prime minister, in commenting on China's latest extension of visa-free treatment to Slovakians effective as of Friday.
From Friday, citizens of nine more countries can enter China without needing a visa to visit. Holders of ordinary passports from eight countries in Europe – Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco and Liechtenstein – as well as South Korea can visit for business or leisure purposes for up to 15 days without needing a visa.
In an interview with China Media Group (CMG) on the occasion of a China visit on Tuesday, Fico lauded the convenience brought to Slovakians traveling to China by the visa-free policy and shared his views on the great development of China over the past two decades since his first visit to the country.
